James Usher of Lincoln Longcase Clock, Eight day clock by Lincoln maker James Usher father of James Ward Usher the great collector and benefactor of Lincoln. The clock dates from circa 1850. The clock is oak with mahogany pillars and cross banding. It has a painted dial depicting the biblical scene of St Peter denying Christ before the cock crows
