Scottish Long Case Clock

A stunning example of a Scottish longcase clock in solid mahogany with flame veneers to the front. Painted dial showing the four seasons with the scene in the arch entitled "Burns at the plough". Signed J. Templeton. Maybole. Circa 1840-50. Eight day movement strike the hours on a bell, subsidiary dials for seconds and date.
